Well, I got an unexpected suprise today. My check from Petsmart (which I quit a rather long time ago) arrived via the United States Postal Service today. A whopping $212.77. It was enough to seriously help out though.

I can’t remember if I posted about going to see Incubus or not, so if I did, skip down to the next paragraph, if not, read on.
Last Saturday I went to see Incubus at the Gwinnett Arena. It was awesome. I kind of felt like a big goober because there were SO many young teenagers there (i.e. between the ages of 13 and 17). VERY few older people were there. It almost made me feel like a petafile: LOL! Other than that, they are awesome in concert. Their opening act sucked majorly though. The one song I wanted to hear, they didn’t play: Pardon Me. I was kinda disappointed. Derick is such a hoot! I love him to death. We had so much fun after the show in the parking lot waiting on traffic to die down a little bit. When we were leaving, this one girl would not let Russell in (mind you she isn’t going anywhere-traffic is stopped). So, Russell just kinda stuck the nose of the car in there and in her determination to keep him from getting in front of her (she was really angry about his attempted maneuver), she smacked into the back of the Jeep Liberty in front of her. Geez…all she had to do was stay put and both she and us would have gone on just fine. That’s what happens when you are unjustifiably mean.

Let’s see…my puppies are wonderful. As well as my cat Shroder. I have been a bum lately. I need to do some real work. I love waiting until the last minute though, everything seems to turn out better that way generally.

Life is good and God is blessing me in so many ways…so many that I wouldn’t even know where to start. Everyone, let me know if you need any prayers…I will be happy to pray for you.

Thought of the Day: “Providing honorable things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but in the sight of men.” -II Corinthians 8:21
